Fishing

I tried to catch one of the dark fish today for closer examination. They were too quick for me, also I think my net is too big ... Hint for budding engineers: When failure looms, blame your equipment. Then I tried to take a photo of the little buggers, but it is harder than you would think. I had to stand over the pool to shade it with my body in order to not just get a photo of the reflection from the surface. I think my camera may not really be up to the job ... Again, blaming the equipment. One of my neighbors is a serious photographer with a job for Cannon and everything, I may have to bribe him for a stint of pond photography. There's also a really neat exoskeleton that a bug left on one of the reeds but again, I can't get the camera to focus on it. But I digress. If you look carefully at the photo above, you will see one of the dark fish. This one is actually a calico, the other one is more a pure gray, so even harder to photograph. But I came up with an ingenious plan ...
