Frogger worshiping at the feet of the great frog god as he bestows the blessing of new water upon the upper pool. So far today I have only seen one frog, but that one sat in exactly the same place for hours. I hope the others are just out hunting in the garden and haven't come to any harm. I worry about my frogs well-being and count them whenever I go outside. There is a new tom cat who just moved in to the neighborhood and looks pretty tough and is outside most of the time. I hope he doesn't have a taste for frogs. Hopefully the frog god is looking out for his subjects. Of course, frogs do have a natural advantage in escaping the cat due to the cat's innate dislike of water. And the other dangerous possibility exists that my frogs have become disgusted with my attempt to impose an artificial deity into their otherwise perfectly fine existences and have gone to seek freedom of religion in someone else's back yard pond.
