A particularly fine photo of Frogger - I am starting to be able to tell them apart, Frogger doesn't have a strong markings as the other two (if there are only another two) for example the frog in the picture for this post is clearly not the same frog as in the title banner. Their eyeliner application techniques are completely different. More on that later, today the subject of the blog is: Frogger keeps squeaking! Whenever I startle him, he lets out a big squeak and jumps in the pool. It really is a squeak, not a croak - out (I think) was croaking the other day, but this is different. I think I may have to rename Frogger to Squeakers, but that complicates life because I already have a cat named Squeakers and having two pets with the same name is rather confusing. Not that I can really consider Frogger to be a pet, he is more like a neighbor or a squatter or perhaps a domestic servant since he catches bugs for me. And we are now supposed to call house cats feline companions, not pets, but Squeakers the cat is really more of a princess than a companion. We almost had a great tragedy yesterday, Frogger was in the garden and actually moving (rare for him) and Squeakers saw him and pounced, luckily I was right nearby and yelled at her so she desisted and Frogger got away. I don't know how I could have forgiven her for that one, the dead moles are bad enough.
