Current set up

This is the current pond set up. The water is still running even though it hasn't gotten above freezing all day today. The wind is wickedly strong and the cat has been complaining all day about not being able to go outside, I am resisting the urge to let her out and teach her a lesson. Bad enough that I am subjecting my fish to freezing conditions, however. They are still there under the water, they have been moving around. The little pond heater is still in there, completely frozen in and I have no idea if it is doing any good or even working. I looked for a better pond heater today but I have a feeling that this area isn't sufficiently rural for stores to stock those (I believe they are mostly used to keep water from freezing for livestock.) It will be warming up tomorrow and through next week so I probably won't need one, I plan to take the fish inside on Thanksgiving morning unless the weather improves enough to wait until the weekend. I really need to start shopping for a bigger tank.
