Final sighting?

I took this photo last weekend and I was pretty sure it would be the last frog sighting of the year, but now I'm not so sure. After 7 PM on Friday night and it is 56 degrees out! Rainy, yes, but I don't think that the frogs mind the rain. It probably brings out the extra bugs, in fact. Speaking of which, I have been finding a lot of sodden dead worms on the blue stone pavers outside my back door in the last few days. As devotees of my blog will know, I no longer try to rescue them since I have learned that they are a harmful invasive species, however I'm puzzled by the number of dead ones. Maybe something about the combination of cold weather and wet ground? That theory doesn't really fit the data, but I haven't got a better one at the moment.
