The fish under the layer of ice. I'm gambling that they make it through the next two nights, and then it is going to warm up again. They are moving around under the ice, at least they were this morning. Tonight I came home late at night and put more water into the pond with buckets of water to make sure the level was maxed out, but of course I couldn't see anything except that the pump was still running. Yesterday night I moved the end of the hose and the iron frog that weighs it down so that the water is only circulating in the lower pond, that probably helps. Now my fingers are so frozen that I can barely type and I feel kind of guilty about that. This is a picure taken through the ice, those orange stripes are the goldfish.
