I discovered that the best fish photos of fish in the tank are taken by looking down from the top, since that way the glass doesn't get in the way and cause reflections. Of course that assumes that you don't want the reflections off of the glass, I suppose that too could be a desired effect. Anyway this particular photo has a nice clean look along with some lenses distortions caused by the whorls in the water coming out of the pump. Kind of neat. I still haven't taken the time to load photo shop onto my machine (and then to learn it, which is even more time.) Maybe I should try doing some watercolors of my fish and my pond. Really that would have been something to do last summer. Where did the time go? So little time, and so much of it wasted.Friday, December 5, 2008
