Rain storm

We are close enough to the ocean that we were off the edge of the ice storm, we just got a lot of rain but no ice on the trees. Still, I skipped work, didn't seem to make sense to deal with the mess. By mid-day the weather was really quite warm and the pond was as full as it can get, as you can see from the photo. No frog sitings though, it wasn't quite warm enough. Maybe on Monday, the weather man says it will be 56 degrees. I tried to call my friend in southern New Hampshire and it went directly to some sort of voice mail that she doesn't subscribe to, so I suspect she is deep in the ice.
