Getting onto the couple of guys on Dover-Calais ferry I met Marcus and Oli on day 5 of their round-the-world tour https://www.marcusoliworldtour.com/. The were welcome company while navigating through the maze of the ferry terminal!

Arrived in London and didn’t have too horrid a time with the jet lag, spent a couple of days with my friend Mike at his flat, he moved to London to work at the Turring Institute after getting a Ph.D. at 50+,  very impressive!

Bought a bike bag for the trip, my most expensive piece of luggage every but worth it so I can bring my own bike, and it doubles as a cat bed!
