Iced over

This isn't a very good ice photo but an interesting photo. I came home early today and thought that it would get warm over the weekend so I filled up the pond with water and figured that I would fish the fish out (ha ha) on the weekend. Problem is, it won't be warm on the weekend, I'm thinking of getting a pond warmer. I broke up all of the ice when I got home and it was only about 1/2 inch thick, and the wonderful little pump is still going strong, which keeps the water flowing and the fish from freezing, however if it REALLY dips down there could be trouble. I'm not sure what I should do at this point. I dug up a little water heater, the kind you use for a tropical fish tank, that will hopefully be enough to keep the pump running and the whole system functioning although it is not really the "eco-friendly" solution. As of now, the fish are still alive but not moving around too much. In other news, my friend gave me a copy of photo shop, so now my attempts at photo-modification-art should get a bit better.
